yes, they would try to hire illegals. But you know the simplest way to ensure they don't' and can't cheat on workplace laws? Don't make an legality distinctions between immigrants. They're all legal, and a criminal background check is all that you need to get into the US.
Yes it's also possible that it would up inflation, but that's why we have the federal reserve board- to check that.

No it wouldn't cause inflation. Illegals, 90%, earn more than min. wage now. It would cause recession as more illegals, now given amnesty, would be on the Gov. dole. More would seek welfare etc. which would cause a tax increase. Wait and see in 2008. IF a dem gets elected they will raise taxes, the next year we will have a recession. Any money you sent to the gov. is a drain on the economy. The gov, makes nothing, produces nothing. The only thing the gov should do is build roads and maintain a military.

Actually I have a question for your question, how do employers figure they are getting cheap labor when the have to pay for the illegals labor through our taxes? The cost of cheap labor in terms of our government expenditures for education, crimminal justice, and emergency medical are significant.Perhaps it will have to be a direct effect on a politician or employer before they will wake up and see the defistation on our country?

No actually. The pay wouldn't go up. More than likely down. With the labor market FLOODED with unskilled workers and new illegals streaming across all the time wages can be kept low because there will always be far more workers than jobs available.

Illegals are working in the trades and in the oil and gas industry for the same money as citizens. The great myth is that they work only menial jobs or work for low wages.

Why do not we crack down on the companies that hire those human beings extremely? it may be extra effective. I have been given to assert in the adventure that your interest is in threat of being taken via unlawful of offshore workers, you would not have slept by college. Xenophobia is basically incorrect.
