Of course. Although shy/reserved/introverted people are often initially thought to be arrogant, when they are not...that's not to say that a person cannot be both shy and arrogant...however, it's not a common combination...ego typically needs some extroversion...

Hi Babysapph..!!!

NO, I DON"T!!!! I can relate to that a lot. I'm very reserve and often people think, (and they will tell me), that they think I am arrogant!!!

Speaking for myself, keeping to yourself, not being transparent, being shy, and not being able to express or act as most people do, leads others to think I'm arrogant.

Being reserved now a days is like having a decease or something. When every body is out there venting their lives gains and frustrations and know some body is NOT, it could easily be translated as being arrogant. Because one is NOT following the "NORMS".

When people don't understand something or someone they are very quick to label "IT", as negative most of the time. Also when they can't find they way of knowing or getting about your business, so then they can have something to talk or gossip about, they label one as stuck-up, weird, arrogant or even crazy.

Just because one doesn't feel comfortable making their life public for every body to talk about, that doesn't mean that one is arrogant.

That is being reserved and respectful of your personal interests.
Even though for others it may be acting or being weird.

Absolutely not...arrogant people let you know every step of the way that they think they are better than you....reserved people are just smarter than arrogant people

I certainly think a lot(but not all) are arrogant. I work with a man who is very stoic and reserved. I can tell by his body language that he thinks he's all that and a bottle of champagne.

It's a natural assumption if they don't speak to you when you speak to them.
