It used to bother me when I was younger. The man I'm with now does it on purpose and then makes a crude joke. I do the same and we both laugh about it. We actually have a lot of fun doing it.

yes, it's rude and disrespectful. if the guy really "loved" or cared about the woman he wouldn't feel the need to check out others. he wouldn't even bother.
