I do not have a hole in the end of my toothbrush because it is quite a modern one, so i think the hole was there because in the 'olden days' bathroom accessories came in the plastic variety with hooks, hence hole in end of toothbrush to place piece of string to hang on hook. My aunt Colgate worked as a toothbrush hole-putter-inner, but she was made redundant because the new toothbrushes don;t have holes (sad really!). Is my dose of medication high enough????
