Well, I guess it's safe to safe that you got all your protein requirements for the day! But seriously, it's not like you are constantly eating peanut butter at every meal every day...then you would probably gain some weight because peanut butter is high in fat (as most nut products are). Just don't binge too often and you'll be fine.

OKay will all commercial brands of pb(jiff, peterpan, etc.) contain trans fat whether it is listed or not(only required to list if more than 1/2 gram per serving). If the ingredients have partially hydrogenated oil it contains trans fat. Trans fat is really bad for your heart and slows weight loss down substantially. Sure there is protein, but not THAT much. It is called peanut BUTTER for a reason. It's high in saturated fat which is bad especially with no excercise. In the cookies there is probably tons of butter or margarine. Butter has a lot of saturated fat while margarine has a little less but a lot of trans fat. If you just did this today, and you don't continue eating like this than you will be fine. But if you're dietary habits are like this everyday than you will gain weight and be very unhealthy.

peanut butter is high in calories but its a great form of protein. I wouldnt suggest eating like this every day but occasionally its totally fine. watch out more for the added sugar in cookies and such rather than the good fats in the peanut butter

Only bad for the peanutbutter. :)

Weight isn't put on in one day. I wouldn't worry.
And peanutbutter is mostly protein, the worse of the culprit for weight gain is usually the bread and white flour.

Other than that, just enjoy.
