I have $279 to spend. I can buy a 2gb ipod nano for $149 in silver. or i can buy a 4gb ipod nano in green for $199 that has to be shipped to my house. my favorite color is green and i have a lot of songs i want to put on my ipod. i used to have a ipod shuffle but it got stolen. which should i buy???? i need an answer by 12/30!

also the only reason i got all the money is because i read a lot and the people who gave it to me think i should buy myself something different. i do read in my spare time and my parents buy me a lot of barnes and noble gift cards

It's your money and I don't see the harm in buying what you want. I am going to speculate that this may be Christmas money? If so then who ever gave it to you wanted you to get whatever it was you wanted. Go for the green, you sound like that's the one you want anyway.

If you have alot of songs i would go with the 4 g ipod nano.. but if you want to go above that the 30 g is 249 on-line and i think cheaper at overstock.com .. which gives you a hell of alot more songs get a green skin for like 10 bucks if that so shipping should cover just about all of that... and you get more for your money... but if you've got your heart set on the nano and have around 1000 songs go for the 4 g... it just makes more sense double the memory for 50 bucks more

I'd save the money, because there may very well come a day when you won't have any and wish you had saved money instead of spent it all on a stupid IPOD. (I currently 51 cents in my purse, 45 cents in the bank, and am not getting paid for another week and am probably going to run out of food by Wednesday.)
I've never understood the draw of an IPOD. Go buy some books. Become literate.

You should buy the 4gb ipod nano. It might cost alot but it has more room for songs and green is your fav color right.So if i were you iwould defietly get that.besides you still have money left over right?

Have you considered saving another $100 and getting a 30gb for $249---you have that much right now. Or you could get the 80gb with video for $349???? Just a thought-----but....... If you want to but one NOW, I'd say you'd be better off with the 4gb. It's the color you want, it holds twice as much, and it's only $50 more.......
try going to www.apple.com and go to the store and order it from them---then you can get it engraved with your name on the back.. That's what i did when I got my Pink Mini iPod.
I just looked and they have the green 4gb for $199---free engraving!!!!! And a reputable dealer......

It depends on what you prefer cheap or expensive you get buy the 2gb and save or buy something with the rest of your money. Or you can get the 4gb and wait for a long time for it to come and still have money left. But either way you'll have money left so its worth it.

dont get the iPod, check out these MP4 players. they are less than the 4GB nano and they do video and music, with a 30GB capacity...more space, more file formats...definitely a better deal...if i had a choice i would sell my green nano that i got and buy one of those...but it was a gift so i cant really trade it in..follow the link in the sources part of my answer to the website, or copy/paste it into your browser bar

get the green one......its a lot better because you have a lot more space....i have a 8gb black and a 8gb (RED) one and a 80 gig video, and ive filled up all 3....i have 160 gb of music and videos, and a bunch of other crap
if you can, buy the PRODUCT (RED), at least some of the money goes to charity.....they make a $200 (4gb) and a $249 (8gb)

I think you should get the 4GB, you probably will have enough songs and it sounds like the one you want. Plus, you may want to add photos or other extras and you'll need the space. Sometimes a little splurge for yourself is worth it, you may regret later and want another iPod!

now u buy 2 gb
and afterwards ur requirements become 4 gb
u will not have mind to buy another new one 4 gb
which will cost more and is real stupidity too...
so go in for 4 gb is my idea
