No. Jesus is a Jew (of the house hold of David), a rabbi, the Jewish messiah (Christ), king of the Jews (title given by the Romans who executed him at the request of the Jews), first born of the dead (God raised him from the dead), and Jesus will return.

There is nothing magical about Jesus; we have four accounts regarding his life, death, and resurrection. The only question, do you believe the accounts.

Yes Jesus is magical, but he would not preform for them that asked him too. Matthew 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away.
But to list a few of his magic tricks; where to make blind see, lame to walk, he feed the poor by miracles, he turned water into wine(the first magic), he created eyes for one man that did not have any with spit and mud. He walked on water for his disciples and calmed a storm. But probably the greatest magic trick he did was raise Lazarus who had been dead 4 days. But this trick is what separated him from all other God-Man people, no person on the planet could do this magic trick but him and others that he promised to them that believe in him. Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." Matthew 11:5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
Creation is an act of God alone, Satan can only destroy or pervert but only God can create life where ther was none before!

Yes he was an Essene and they practiced different forms of folk and astrological magic/magick, and mysticism.

Since he was Jewish he of course studied the Hebrew version of Kabballah which is Jewish Mysticism.

I think he also had backgrounds in Zororasterism which I'm currently researching.
