No. It makes you a good person.

No, wait, actually... I don't agree with the notion that Christian "morals" make you good. I don't agree with a lot of the moral lessons in the Bible.

Look... if you respect your fellow man, don't intentionally hurt anyone, do "good works" and are generally a decent human being then you're a good person, not religious.

No, it makes you moral.

Religious people express faith in the tenets of a particular religion. They're not necessarily morally upright people (look at Ted Haggard).

Besides, it's not really a "Christian life" if it's not grounded in the tenets of Christianity, anyway. There are lots of other religions who tell you basically to live the same way, when you strip off the religious dogma and rituals. I say eschew "religiousness."

As the Tao te Ching says:
"I let go of religion,
and people become serene..." (verse 57)

By Christian you mean having a positive outlook on life, help others, and don't have an immoral lifestyle? Then it's not religious. You do it because you want a clean conscience.

If you're going to church and participating in religious sacraments like the Catholic religion then it would make you religious.

You can also do things "religiously" things that you're devoted to doing, but not in the name of God would not be religious

If by "Christian" you mean that you're an outstanding moral citizen, then no. Being a good, honest person doesn't make you religious.

Do you pray? Do you believe in God? If the answer to these is no, then you are an atheist.

you really need to define what a "Christian" life is. If the definition of Christian living is someone who believes Jesus Christ died for their sins, then you're no atheist at all! If the defintion of Christian living is simply adhering to morals and values and standards of behavior that most church-attendees can agree with, then you're missing the point on what a Christian is.

No, just go with the flow. Now it is consider more like a social event than a religious one, it has always been that way, untill the church and religious organizations decided to take part on it and make some money and marketing on it. Check H channel.

Like many Atheists, your philosophy is probably Secular Humanism. You take personal responsibility for your actions and give priority to making the world, present and future, a place where you'd like to raise your children. You do it because, as an intelligent person, you see it as simple common sense. It is much nobler to do something 'just because it's right' than out of fear, or the false promise of immortality. I apologize to those particular christians out there who hang onto preconceived notions of godless people as being inherently bad. Heck, I haven't raped and pillaged in years.

"Religious" implies conformance to the specific rituals (not just the ethics) of a specific religion.

When you say you lead a very "Christian" life, I'm guessing that doesn't include regular prayer to a god you don't believe in, and that you don't put much stock in Jesus as your personal savior. In that respect, you may be very spiritual, but not very religious.

A quick scan of world religions would probably support the notion that you live an equally "Muslim" or "Buddhist" life.

Of course not.My note would be that if you mean living in peace with others and being "good" is a "Christian way of life" ,you are wrong. Christians have no links with being "good",often they proove to be more "bad" then people believing in other gods or atheists (see forced conversion, crusades, Inquisitions etc.) . I can only congratulate you that you live a good way of life, prooving that anyone can be good.

You can't lead a christian life if you don't love God, being a christian isn't just about being moral and 'good', the only thing that makes you a christian is the fact that you love God believe he died for you and want to live for him.
