If God created everything, he created evil.

Ashley this is the most important question anyone in the universe can ask!

Satan the Devil's timing was impecable! He knew that God had created man to be a FREE MORAL AGENT just like the angelic creatures. Free moral agents are not programmed for instict like animals are. They may choose what path they will follow. He also knew that Adam and eve had not yet had any children. He knew that Eve was inexperienced enough that she may not run from or object to a talking snake, (something she had not known to exist). .... Like I said perfect timing.....He, (Satan) lied to the first human couple and challenged God's right to rule the universe. He questioned God's motives for rulership. He called God a liar. Adam and Eve chose poorly. Against warning. God could have destroyed Adam and Eve and Satan right there.....but would that answer satan's challenge???? Would you and me exist???? No.....

The existance of the "tree of knowledge of Good and Evil" shows that this was a trial period. As I said God made them Free Moral Agents. He wanted them to choose wisely, but would allow them to make the choice.....in THIS ONE CASE....and possibly in some other cases.....God the Creator, (Jehovah) CHOSE NOT TO KNOW WHAT THEY WOULD DO.
(just because God is all knowing does not mean he cannot choose NOT to know something before it happens)

God did not create the devil. The devil himself became the devil when he allowed his own desire for worshippers to lead him into rebellion. God did not cause evil. James says in James 1:13 & 14 "with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone"

What is now at stake is the most important issue in the universe. God's right to rule! The creator has stood aside to allow Mankind and Satan to temporarily attempt to get by without the Creator's rulership. In his way it will be proven FOREVER that man cannot direct his own steps. (Jeremiah 10:23)

If things had been stopped even 100 years ago....someone could always protest and say wait!! we have not tried communism yet...nor have we tried computers or improved communications or technology or medical advances!!! Now all those things have been tried....is the world a better place with humans at the controls???? NOPE!

Very soon now the creator will reverse all the damage done by Satan and Humanity and he will even resurrect the dead.

NO, God did not create evil. He does not ignore it either. He does allow evil, because He gave us free will. God will vanquish the Devil when Jesus returns. When my Savior, Jesus, hung on the cross He already had victory over Satan. Satan knows his future. That is one reason he tries so hard to keep people from the truth about Jesus. He wants as many people to be with him in hell when his end comes. He knows that himself. I pray that you have chosen to be with God through Christ. I have!!

Then God would be a Fascist Tyrant. God doesnt force his will on anyone. God loves all. But he has given us a great tool to defeat Satan. It's ashame that some have chosen to ignore it.

Because God is a God of love. He loves Satan and wants to give him a chance to repent. He also wants to give us that same chance.

Good and Evil are human concepts. We have a dualistic interpretation of the world. This is what John Lennon was trying to express in 'Imagine'. The ideas of heaven and hell are mere illusions created to fill a gap in our understanding of life.

Evil exists because God gave us "free will"....the "tool" by which to defeat "evil" in any of it's forms...is faith.

Our submission to God's will is our tool to defeat Satan. And we can only be led aright if God willed for us to do so. God doesn't need us. We need to prove to him that we are worthy, he already knows that, since he made us. Satan is trying to spread evil, to show God that he is superior to mankind, and that he was right not to bow down to Adam when he was first made.

[015:039] [Iblîs (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Because You misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all.

[015:040] "Except Your chosen (guided) slaves among them."

[015:041] (Allâh) said: "This is a way which will lead straight to Me."

[015:042] "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghâwûn (Mushrikûn and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evildoers).

[015:043] "And surely, Hell is the promised place for them all.

Because then we would all serve Him out of fear instead of love, we would listen to God and believe His word because we fear that we'll end up like Satan when He rebelled against God. God wants us to serve Him out of love, not fear.
