Because evolution is fact and reality while creationism is baseless speculation...

I'm guessing that's the correct answer. Is it? Do I win?

Because evolutionary theory is a product of the evidence. The evidence came first, then the theory. When there is new evidence, for example Mendelian genetics, or discovery of the structure and function of DNA, the theory then develops further. If the evidence refutes the theory then the theory is abandoned. This is how science works, in a nutshell.

Creationists work the other way: they start with the theory and then try to find the evidence. They haven't been very successful for this reason.

Your statement, is totally false. So, I must point that out first. The evidence we DO have, points to the creation story. I don't know whether you were just not educated, and should feel bad for you, as you may have had twisted teachers, etc, that told you this. You obviously have not studied it yourself to see if its true. It would have to be really hard, in my opinion, to admit I believed in evolutionary theory. The amount of faith to believe in no intelligent being, or that we came from goo, that came from nowhere, that created something, with no forces to put the "nothing" into motion, is just so pathetic. Nothing, in honest good science, supports evolution, if you really study it. Way too much has been proven false already, and it is just very embarrassing for that group.
Give us just a couple of your best available evidence, that refutes creation being possible, and that supports evolution. Maybe that would help your argument some.

Creationists and evolutionists, Christians and non-Christians all have the same evidence—the same facts. Think about it: we all have the same earth, the same fossil layers, the same animals and plants, the same stars—the facts are all the same.
The difference is in the way we all interpret the facts. And why do we interpret facts differently? Because we start with different presuppositions. These are things that are assumed to be true, without being able to prove them. These then become the basis for other conclusions. All reasoning is based on presuppositions (also called axioms). This becomes especially relevant when dealing with past events.

I've stopped trying to change anyone's presuppositions. Evolutionists sound just as religious (or should I say rabid) about their beliefs as Creationists. You are both unable to see beyond your own faces. I'm not sure that either opinion really has to be mutually exclusive. I dont think either one of you have the full answer.

you're looking in the wrong places. Just think about it. Based on the laws of physics you have to have something to make matter. You can't make something out of nothing. The science of evolution ignores that there had to be a primary mover in the beginning to begin the ball rolling. You can ignore the many gaps in evidence in the fossil record and ignore the many leaps of logic required to accept the evolutionary theory, but you cannot escape the fact that MATTER had to come from SOMEWHERE. The big bang could not have been the beginning - something had to be there to BANG. ...and God said LET THERE BE LIGHT...

Not scientists have already proven evolution wrong. Read Forbidden Archeology and The Hidden History of the Human Race. By Michael A. Cremo. The Gnostics believed in countless issues. you're appearing like this the invention of the century. heavily, you could learn EArly Christianity. The early popes and the bishops have been o.k. attentive to all of those teachings and there are distinctive commentaries made on it. besides, I get exhilaration from your enthusiasm, yet you do no longer ought to act like it incredibly is all extraordinary and stuff, this is a difference in concept. i like Gnosticism unquestionably, I choose greater Christians could substitute into greater conscious of it, instead of in simple terms leaving it around so as that others can %. it up, and throw the sidestep ball in direction of Christians as a ask your self cutting-edge.

That's not necessarily true. The more they discover the more they find that the Bible is true.

Archaeologist's find that the Bible has been right all along, as a matter of fact a lot of them take Bible's along on certain digs because it has been so accurate in uncovering lost ancient city's.

Don't underestimate the Holy Bible, the more they try to disprove it the more it get proven.

Let's not discuss thousand year old texts that claim mythical processes you can scientifically refute in hindsight. You can have a science cake walk on all the available evidence, in the end you'll have to explain our being here and face the question of who or what started all of this.

The only logical reason for that to be the case would be if evolutionary theory is at least on the right track and creationism is a load of dinosaur poop.

There is preponderance of evidence supporting evolution, whilst creation theory is proprietary notions unique and found only in the Bible.
