Hi

The cheap chains (Hotel B&B, Formule1, Etap, etc.) don't have many places in central Paris. But there are many low cost family run hotels.

You need to work out where in Paris you want to visit, then check out the metro lines to find convenient hotel locations.

You can search Paris hotels from maps here : http://www.the-languedoc-page.com/tourism/hotels-in-paris-75.htm

Just check at http://paris.c-lafrance.com/. You'll have plenty of tips for visiting Paris (monuments, museums, .. and of course hotels & restaurants)

A tip : for cheaper hotels, it is better to book just around Paris : the main tourist spots will be at 15-30 minutes by underground-metro !

Hotel des 2 avenues
hotel-des-deux-avenues.com

It is close from Champs-Elysées, and the subway. If you are looking for an hotel "in" Paris and not too expensive (compare others), this is a good one.

Good trip.

The hotel Ibis: http://www.accorhotels.com/accorhotels/fichehotel/gb/ibi/1400/fiche_hotel.shtml

It's cheap and very nice. Also the Ibis Cambronne is very close the Eiffel tower and a metro stop.

Try Octopus Travel - I use them all the time and find their prices to be much more reasonable than other sites.
