Can't really see the sense in it to be honest. The idea was to have someone to replace Balde if Caldwell or McManus get injured. Now Pressley is a good defender but he can't play in Europe because he already played in europe for Hearts.
So if Celtic need back up for Balde in the champions league they still don't have it.
Not to worry, I'm sure Pressley can talk to Riordan about the Edinburgh derbies they have both played in while they're sitting on the bench together.

Can't blame him, but as a Hearts fan from the USA I was hoping he would sign with Charlton so I could see him on Fox Soccer every couple of weeks.
Oh, and because I just can't get behind any former Jambo playing in Glasgow (unless it's for Partick Thistle).
But, good on him. He was treated like dirt by the Lithuanian mob in Edinburgh, and deserves a few runs at glory before going into coaching.

Not really, the chance to stick the proverbially two fingers up at someone who did the dirty on you is always a strong incentive. As for signing for Charlton, do you sign for a provincial English club with no history and no future, but make tons of money? Or do you take less money and win a few medals that your career undoubtedly deseves? Just ask Alan Shearer now whether he would still sign for Newcastle or go to Man United if he had his time again. In a few years time Shearer will realise he wasted his career on Tyneside.

I wish Elvis well even though he is at Celtic but hey you cant blame the guy for all the s.... at tynie he was a good captain for us. I hope he kicks jankauskas butt when he comes back to play against us would pay double to see.

Glad he didn't come back to Rangers. No you can't blame him for taking the chance to win something and he'll get most of the stick from Hearts fans. I'm glad Rangers didn't try and take another reject back, like Miller.

i think it will be a good signing, he knows the teams in the SPL well enough. He's got guts and a big heart. He will give us 100% every time.
