No. She is drasticly under weight.
The healthy weight for a girl about 5'0 is 100lbs.
Add 5 lbs for every inch taller she gets. But there is also a 20 lb window so she could go anywhere from 90- 110.

She probably is naturally skinny. If she eats and all there is really nothing you can do. I don't think you have to worry she will probably gain weigh when she gets older. I think she needs to gain about 30 pounds so she doesn't look so sickly though but, I feel for her it has to be hard to be so skinny and to have people consisting looking at her as anorexic or bulimic. This is normal for a lot younger children like 7-10 year .

Her normal weight would depend on her bone structure. But if you see her bones and rib cage then she is thin. As long as she is healthy, eats and remains active then she should be alright.

No, that is extremely underweight, but your weight does depend on your bone structure but there is not that much of a dramatic difference.

I don't know her exact age but she sounds underweight to me.
On the website it says her BMI is 11.716.
The average BMI for a 12 year old is 14.8 to 21.7
The average BMI for a 13 year old is 15.3 to 22.6
Check it out and show it to her. She might not know that shes underweight.

I am glad that you want to take care of your sister! A check-up from a doctor would probably be a good idea.

That seems very much underweight. She should be at least 100 pounds. What do your parents think?
