The undisciplined subconscious mind could be thought of as a demon. This is the source of hatred, anger, greed, etc, which are all simply misdirected survival instincts gone bad. To trap and control this "demon" is the problem of every religion and philosophy in the world. It is our job in this life to "Know Thyself", to train and enlighten the subconscious mind so that one becomes a wise and loving human being, a living image of God.

I dont think the demon would appreciate that. Try lighting a black candle and humming, but i am not responsible for what happens to you afterwards. I dont keep such things in my house anymore (black candles that is)
