How do Christians view Thomas Paine's "Biblical blasphemy" ?

Christians really don't care.

But the Nazi pope and his flock have a problem with the man. As you know, the Jude people, Muslims, and Christians had unclean members; they started the Catholic Church.

I would place most Catholics in the same light as Saddam Hussein.

BIBLICAL BLASPHEMY by Thomas Paine (http://www.deism.com/paine_essay02.htm ) starts with:

"The Church tells us that the books of the Old and New Testament are divine revelation, and without this revelation we could not have true ideas of God.

The Deist, on the contrary, says that those books are not divine revelation; and that were it not for the light of reason and the religion of Deism, those books, instead of teaching us true ideas of God, would teach us not only false but blasphemous ideas of Him."

Obviously Christians disagree with Mr. Paine and the religion of Deism.

Unfortunately ive looked for thomas paines writings in a bookstore, most of them are still unavailable exept by special order for those that are truly interested in his work. PS im not a christian, but i do love thomas paines work.
