Numbness of hands and feet can be a symptom of peripheral neuropathy. I am not sure, but I think peripheral neuropathy is an uncommon side effect of Lipator. You can check the current PDR (Physicians Desk Reference) at your local library. Don't stop Lipator without discussing it with your physician. It was likely prescribed to lessen the risk of serious heart disease due to elevated cholesterol.
