8See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

I've read two experts on the Masons recently and they don't know squat! Masonry was based on the same
principles as Feng Shui. It's the knowledge of how
the magnetic forces in Creation affect things. Astrology
is based on that too.
They used to use arches and things to compliment these
natural forces. Today, we use all square designs which
stop the forces up and can cause irritation to our
bodies too. Doesn't the TV and radio mess up when
you get close? Same principle.

Feng shui is completely superstitious in nature. There is nothing to substantiate its validity. Some businesses use its techniques to please superstitious clients such as casino players and Chinese clients.

It's something that says basic things about the human mind's affinity towards certain attributes of our surroundings. That's it. Kinda like casinos using bright colors and pumping in fragrances because it's been proven to keep people there. Just more basic standard psychological stuff.

I would say superstitious. It sounded interesting to me and I did spend a small amount of time in researching it, but it just didn't seem like anything credible.
