I have a severe RA now, yes it's painful, but it's not a threat. The best thing you can do is to see your doctor, and refer to a good specialist. From there he/she'll give your some good medications that you can have a better quality of life. For now some rest, if it's painful, a warm bath to relax, a walk about 20 min. And fees days ago I just did a supports groups for peoples with arthritis.

it can kill, i have lost 2 aunts to rheumatiod arthritis it destroys your whole body slowly it is a very slow painful death.

This is connective tissue disease that affect most of the body systems,including :eg. the heart leading to heart block, lung leading to lung nodules, kidneys, joints and the worst the cervical joints leading to sublaxation and the medications used to control have many side effects namely steroids, methotrxate and gold.
