Hi there again Lucy...I had to read through your questions to see what was suggested. Baby Gravol could be very toxic to your cats liver as cats metabolize human drugs (even medications for children) very differently and it can be quite fatal regardless of how little is given. Generally, vet's prescribe something called acepromazine (aka "Ace).

However if you are flying nearly all airlines nowadays will deny boarding if cats are tranquilized due to the life-threatening complications tranquilizers/sedatives cause mixed with high altitude pressures resulting in death. Please see medical article which explains why and how: http://www.avma.org/careforanimals/animatedjourneys/livingwithpets/sedate.asp

Having flown with cats who are not good travellers, I have found that most are stressed for only about the first 30 minutes and then afterwards go to sleep the remaining portion of the trip.

I hope they work. I know my cat needs to be sedated just to ride anywhere in the car. They work great. good luck.
