My girlfriend's ex has been sending pictures of her naked to people she knows including her work, parents and my friends. She is 25. Is there any one who knows if there is a legal way of getting him to stop? any advice would be great.

Get a lawyer and take him for every cent he's got. This is illegal.

The police should be your first call. They can issue an anti-harrassment letter that will clearly state that any violation will result in prosecution. Sometimes that's enough to frighten someone into stopping. Ring your local police station and get some advice - it's harassment, a personal violation of your girlfriend's right and needs to be stopped. Good luck.

Screw the legal part man. Rip his fukin head off. But if you do decide for the legal option then go straight to the Police but make sure u have evidence first and say that it is affecting u and ur girl. Gud luk dude

This is an infringement of her privacy. Speak to the police, or see a solicitor...
If you feel intimidated by the thought of a solicitor, speak to "Citizen's Advice Bureau". You will have one close to where you live. Sometimes they are based at Libraries, or the Library will tell you where you can find them.

I hope this helps.

Good luck to you, he needs to be stopped and now!

Probably not any legal way. Bottom line is, if you have ANY issue with anyone seeing photos of you (friends, family, coworkers, boss, etc) then don't allow them to be taken...ever...even if you completely trust the other person and believe you'll be in love 'til you die...

She's just SOL I'm afraid...

That's ILLEGAL!! Go to the police!! they can recover the pictures and and he WILL get arrested.GOOD LUCK! THAT MUST BE AWFUL , and tell your girlfriend to be more careful who she allows to take naked pictures of her.in a lot of cases the pictures ended up in the wrong hands, and that can be pretty humiliating for her!

You should go and confront him..... telll him to give you the photos or you will take this issue to the police.... a little bit of harmless blackmail never hurt any1! but it really depends if you are like bigger than him.... maybe you sould do it in a public place....... up to you!

good luck though!

Probably not, unless he is stalking her also. If she owns the photos she can get a cease and desist. Could attempt a restraining order, need to find some grounds.
Lesson learned, don't allow someone to photograph you in compromising situations.

of course there is , report him to the police quick. taking photos of people is not illegal so your g/f wont get in trouble. Sending/advertising/broadcasting these pics without her permission is. It could also be seen as blackmail, harrassment, slander....... take your pick, he's way wrong, report the git, now!
