Remember that even David in the Psalms questioned if God was there, but every chapter always ending with Him praising God in the midst of the so called silence. My husband and I are continually going through rough times, with health and financial issues. We continue to ask God to fix it. However what I have learned over the years, yes this has gone on for years- God is molding us into the people that He has created us to be. If you truly are a Christian, we live in this world, but we are not of it. Stuff happens here, but remember that one day, He will wipe away all tears and there will be no pain. HALLELUJAH!!! Hang in there, God loves you!!

I guess it depends on what you are saying. Are you demanding that he change the world for you now, instead of changing you to fit the world? A person who doesn't care what happens in this old system and knows there is a better world to come, doesn't feel the pain for the now, but the joy of the later.

Oh my No when a prayer if offered up to Jehovah he hears, but he does answer your prayers in ways that perhaps you don't expect, but NO NO NO God does hear your prayers for help and guidance. I'm not too sure hears prayers foe selfish harmful things, gambling etc. But if you are hurting scared or just down Jehovah God will hear and answer your prayers.

I have no doubt that God hears my prayers and request. I wonder why he does not provide immediate positive answers to them in terms I understand. Perhaps I have a bit more dross to be cleaned out of my life with him.

God will not fix everything in your life, cause you will learn some things from the pain, He can hear everything though.

Usually when I feel like God is not listening, it is I who can not hear Him because He is not sending me the message I want to hear.

Experience is the one thing you get right after you need it. Do you honestly believe god is any different?

Isayah 59:1-3, 6-8, 12-15—
1 Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
2 But your own iniquities have separated you from your Father; and your own sins have caused Him to hide His face from you, so He will not listen.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; sin. Your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness.
6 Their webs will not serve as clothing, nor will they cover themselves with what they make; their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8 They do not know the way of peace, and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made themselves crooked paths; whoever walks on them will not know peace.
12 For our transgressions are multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them__
13 In transgressing and lying against Yahweh, and turning away from following our Father, speaking oppression and rebellion, conceiving and uttering from the mind words of falsehood:
14 So judgment is driven backwards, and justice stands afar off, for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
15 Yes, truth; the Law, is suppressed; and he who departs from evil; upholds the Law, is accounted as mad; makes himself a prey! Yahweh saw this, and He saw the evil that there was no justice in the last days. The Savior also pleads with you to repent of breaking Yahweh's Laws, saying that if you do not you will perish.
