Because along time ago, Man created God. Man said God was perfect in every way and you have to do everything he says or else. What's more perfect than that? You can't improve imaginary perfection.

Failed to create a perfect God? What are you going on about? You cant make God any more perfect than the Christian think their God is.... How do you improve upon perfection?

Man is imperfect in this life and therefore cannot create anything of perfection. Perfection is a goal or destiny... not man's condition!

because the people who made the last god put in that little bit about beleiving in other gods....namelly those who do it go to hell.
people are too scared to make up a new god....give it time...as soon as christianity begins to die down another new religion (or less popular one) will become the "true" one.

To be perfect is to be without flaws. To be without flaws is to be without attributes that can have flaws. Every attribute can have flaws. Thus, a perfect god does not exist.
