Yes they do. I'm 12 but my dentist said that they're fine for my age. I bought the Walgreens whitening strips, and they're doing great! On the instructions, it says to do it for 30 min and just throw the strips away and to only use one a day for two weeks. I follow all the instructions except I use them for about 1-2 hours. Do this once a day for like a week, and my teeth are really white. I drink coffee too (lots of milk) and i just use the whitening strips after. I tried the Crest whitening strips too and they're pretty much the same, except Crest took a little longer but still gave me same results. Drinking anything is ok really, just make sure that its not TOO often (like a cup every 3 hours, someone I knew did that and didn't use whitening strip, they have horrible teeth now) and use the strips after. I recommend both, but for faster results, use Walgreens. A good time to use them is right before bed because then its the last thing so it "sticks" is a way to put it. Don't use them while sleeping unless you want your enamel on your teeth to go away along with the stains too. Just because you have white strips doesn't mean you should stop brushing your teeth or flossing. Brush your teeth first, floss, then put the white strips on, but make sure you let your teeth get a little drier first or the gel on the strips will make the strips slide off. They are kind of expensive though, the Walgreens brand costing $30 when I got them and the Crest about the same price. Don't get them from eBay even if it's cheaper. I doubt its clean even, going through the postal system along with thousands of licked letters, ew..Using the strips moderately doesn't get rid of enamel, just don't use it more than once a day. If you really have an urge to use it more than once, just brush your teeth insted. Hope this helps!

Yes, they do. However the kits you buy in the store are not very strong. They will not get very white - and it will not last very long. You can get the Crest Whitestrips Supreme through dental offices only - these are the strongest available. You whiten for 3 weeks and then it should last for 1-2 years (depending on how much coffee, tea, soda, etc that you drink).
The strips are a good idea if you have somewhat straight teeth - otherwise a custom made tray will be better, as it is the form of your teeth. Remember to bleach the upper teeth first, so you can see a difference and be sure it is working.
As to sensitivity - you have to be careful not to get the gel on your gums, and yes some people do develop a sesitivity to cold after bleaching their teeth.

The Crest whitestrips Premium REALLY work well. They cost like $34 a box at Wal-Mart, but you can get them cheaper on Ebay. These are the 7 day treatment strips. But I only use them once a day rather than the recommended twice a day usage, and I've gotten great results. I always use them before pictures or special events too.

Stay away from the professional teeth whitening procedures and from the whitening at home kits. They are using extremely toxic chemicals that can cause IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO TOOTH ENAMEL and premature tooth decay.

Check out this site: http://www.naturalwhiteteeth.net - It's about how you can whiten your teeth 100% naturally. Same results but 100% safe and 1000 times cheaper.

I have found them to be ineffective. I used them daily till i went through two boxes and I found no change. I even had pictures to compare. My advice is if you want to whiten your teeth, pay the extra money and get a bleaching kit from your dentist. It may cost more, but in the long run you will have better results that will last a lot longer.

Yes they do, obviously professional systems work better but the strips will do just fine. how whitening works is by hydrogen pitting the enamel of your teeth causing the pure white dentin to be closer to the surface. this will cause sensitivity and in some cases pain but well worth it if you can manage to process.

I've seen a program where they did tests on all of them. Crest White strips worked the best, but none of them worked very well.
