what are some ways to tell someone you like them, besides just saying flat out i like you?

I am too shy and believe it to be very awkward to just come out and say "i like you"

by the way, he is one of my best guy friends so just asking them to do something would be friendly to them.

Hello,
There isn't any other way to let someone know how you feel but just come on out and say it. Since your shy and would prefer not to do this then I suggest that you can do the following:
1. write the guy a letter ( but this is sort of elementary)
2. ask him to a movie or dance something thats coming up
3. flirt with him wink, smile, bat your eyelashes make eye contact!
4. last but not least we are at the point of you need to just say" you know something blank, I like you and think your pretty awesome!"

Good luck.... don't wait to long to let this guy know how you feel cause some other girl might be thinking the same thing and instead of beating around the bush she just might come out and tell him...

I alway's find that you may not necessarily have to just come out and say it. Try talking first ---about anything. That person should be smart enough to notice if you like them or not. As well as you will know if they like you also. Maybe the other person is just as shy as you are and is afraid to say just what you're afraid to say. Hopefully after a little conversation thing's will work out the way you want them to. Good luck!

hello i am not completely sure of how else to tell someone that you like them except flat out telling them to me if you flat out tell and do not come out to strong about it then they will respect you allot more about just flat out asking him. I am the exact same way you are and i had to write them a letter and tell them that i liked them. But before you do that you need to kind of be friends with them and then if you already are then write them a note and tell them you got bored and that will probably work well i wish you luck.

Besides saying i like you face to face u can tell that person in a note, in an email, or a text message! For me it would be better face to face but if ur too shy to then i think u should tell him in a note!!!! Its much better if ur shy!

you seem like u want to be mysterious so...be mysterious instead of being direct.

if u don't knw how to be mysterious then try this...don't talk to the guy u like too much, pretend as if you don't see him, u can still smile if he gives his corny jokes but not too much, question some of his answers that he gives in class (as in oppose him) he will start to give u more attention (i'm not kidding) and don't call him too often.

well, being shy sucks, believe me i know.
but really, being shy seems to be with the younger people, seriously.
just do something diffrent, that wont have you saying it just flat out.
like make a cute homemade card that says it.
that would be very nice.

Non-verbal ways using body language - mirroring his, turning your body toward him, smiling, maintaining eye contact. Laughing at his jokes, taking an interest in things he is interested in, a light touch on his arm when you're talking. Good luck.
