Some dogs do not come into heat until they are 2 years, but it is pretty unusual in large breed dogs. She could be having silent heats, where they have the hormonal changes, but they do not bleed. Also, if you bought your dog from a breeder she may have been spayed before she went to her new home (many reputable breeders do this with their pet quality puppies).

I have tried to tell you to go and get the dogs THYROID tested. Hypothyroidism is VERY common in Goldens and can mess with their heat cycle.

STOP asking the same questions and SEE THE VET!!!!

If you have no money, take the dog to a shelter or at the very least SPAY THE DOG!!!! You should not be trying to breed to make some money! The dog is not supposed to support the family!!!! You need to have BIG bucks on hand to breed in case there are complications!!!

Look for a low cost spay/neuter program in your area!!!!!!!!!

1) If you can't afford to take her to the vet, you shouldn't have her. Find her a home that will care for her properly.

2) If she is having issues like this, she is NOT a good breeding prospect. Have her spayed.

3) How many times are you going to ask the same freaking question?

4) If you can't afford to take her to the vet, what are you going to do if she DOES get pregnant and has complications?

Until a dog is fully matured it will not breed. We raise Pekingese and they usually don't breed til their second year.
And we have raised a few that never breed.
We have also had some that will (if allowed to), breed twice a year.
For our dogs 4 years is all we allow females. We then retire them as pets.
Don't get anxious about breeding, if your in it for the money, find something else to do.
Finally, cheap food will keep a good breeder off the market. Through bad Vet advice, we lost a year. Bum food.
We now use Purina's "One" the very best we can buy.....
No fleas, beautiful fur, happy dogs, and fewer Vet needs.

exhibiting signs and indications of what? You did no longer end your question. If i exchange into you, i might get off the laptop and head for the vet! something is heavily incorrect, because of the fact a doggy at that age, should not be bleeding from the vagina.

when and where did you get her? maybe she is spayed already. If she isn't spayed, go and get her spayed. There is not reason for her to be un-spayed.
