It depends on how old I was, and if they acked me first, and who they were. I don't think I would make a banner or anything.

Well that ALL depends!
In no circumstances would I go around screaming "I'M A VIRGIN" from the rooftops with a megaphone (unless I was paid to...) but it depends on my age, and whether or not you *were* a virgin or not.
I'm only a young teen, so it's deemed irresponsible if I'm not a virgin, but I'm not sure about later on. Quite obviously I can't speak from experience, but I probably wouldn't bring it up later on in life - there are million(to the power of a million) things that I could be talking about instead. If I was straight out ask I don't think I would lie, because sex is such a sacred thing really,
but of course - it ALL depends!

Only close people. I dont know why some christians use it as an ice breaker (Hi, I am Sally and I am a virgin) There is nothing worng with being a virgin, this is depending on how old you are. If you are like 30 and still a virgin then there is something wrong with you.
Good luck

I'm a virgin. I see no harm in telling people. However, I would like to lose it before the year is through. I'm 17, by the way.

I don't think I'd wave a banner announcing it, but I can imagine telling someone that needed to know it, like someone I was in love with.
On the other hand, if I was a virgin due to very strong moral or religious beliefs and felt confident about it, I can see voicing it during a debate with my peers.
I wouldn't hide it for sure.

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin, would I personally shout it from the mountain tops, probablly not. Not because I am ashamed, but my sexual life isnt anyones business.
If i was in a relationship and was a virgin and we were SERIOUSLY thinking and ready to have sex, then of course. but that is in the privacy of a relationship.
good luck.

Yeah, I tell people. Not straight up, but I tell the truth if they ask me. The good side of it is that when I get married, I'm going to back to all of these people and tell them that I'm not a virgin anymore, and it's going to feel REALLY good.

As you can see from my screen name i am not ashamed to say im a male virgin. Its a shame that people look down upon it(especially women these days) but that just shows me which ones to avoid. Let them worry about deseases etc etc etc. I dont have that emotional or physical baggage to worry about

Depends on the age, as well as religious/moral beliefs. Teenagers shouldn't be ashamed of virginity, but it's generally a more private matter for adults.

The only person who should be interested in whether or not I was a virgin is the person to whom I was to lose the virginity to.

I don't wear a sandwich board around that says I'm not a virgin...it's no one's business but the person who is a virgin, and perhaps the person they choose to lose their virginity with...
