Try gin+mint+sugar syrup from lychees can = Lotus Martini
It's heaven.
Personally I like Coke in Long Island Ice Tea.

You have heard of 'sex on the beach', well you could call it 'kneel over the toilet.'
I suppose minty coke with the tangy juniper berries from the gin might work.
How about pouring the coke and peppermint in and leaving for a few mins to settle, then slowly pour the gin down the side of the glass so it settles at the bottom - 'minted, dark and stormy'

A look at www.cocktail.uk.com doesn't give an answer - this concoction doesn't appear to have made it onto their list. So call it what you will - looks like you've invented your own cocktail! I have vague recollections of my mother talking about a senior female relative drinking "gin and pep" which presumably is gin and peppermint.
The site below enables you to set up a virtual bar (listing the ingredients you have at hand) and will then tell you what you can make with them. Useful!

my god u must be young....new years eve 1986...pernod and port it was all that was in my grans drink cupbard..tasted disgusting going down and got me so drunk... i knew id been sick just didnt no where...turns out id just missed the toilet...hmmm
