Red wine should really be consumed within 2-3 days of opening. You can still drink it after that, but it won't taste the same as when it was opened.

White can be kept refrigerated longer, maybe a week or so. After that, the flavors become quite odd.

White will survive longer than red once opened. If it's a red wine, you still have a few days before it turns to vinegar. If it's white win, you have about one week. If it does turn to vinegar, use it with oil and mustard to make a salad dressing.
