NO lemon juice. The acid will errode the enamel on your teeth. For the yellow color, it depends on why it's there. Some teeth just come in more yellow than other peoples. Teeth are not naturally solid white like you see on tv. Only the outer layer is, the enamel. The rest of the tooth, inside, is a yellow color. That's where a slight yellow tint comes from. I find that white strips do work but, you have to give them time. Will not work overnight. Give it 2wks. Whitening from a dentist starts at apprx. $300 for 'trays'. The instant white in-office is more and does not achieve a greater whiteness. Just faster. If sensitive to whitening try sensitive toothpaste and a fluoride rinse to help. Will go away after whitening. No guarantees with whitening. If the yellow color is still present may need to do cosmetic dentistry to 'cover' them. Ex. veneers.

Use "pearl drops", avoid smoking, if you drink tea brush afterwards. In fact....you should brush 3 times a day. be carefull what toothpaste you buy. Most tooth whitening pastes contain abrasives (grit) that can scrape away the enamel in youre teeth and will lead to cavaties. Go to youre dentist!!!!!
If you have to ask about it in here, it means you dont visit a dentist. If you dont take my advice and go to one, next thing you will be asking here on yahoo answers is " How do you get rid of a rotton tooth". Best of luck.

Be careful trying those whitening strips--I hear they can remove the enamel on your teeth. I use a whitening toothpaste. Of course, things like coffe, tea, & tobacco (all of which I use) cause teeth to yellow. Save your pocket change & get a professional cleaning. If you prioritize & manage your $$ you can do it!

Don't smoke or drink caffiene. Brush three times a day for at least two minutes, and within a week or two you will notice a big difference. Use a whitening toothpaste, it really works!

I've used Listerine whitening mouth wash and I've found it to work quite well. It's pretty inexpensive too. Use it everytime before you brush.

There are treatments that you can buy at any drug store. Products that range from $3.00 to $50.00. I have used the less expensive ones... and they work just fine.

The cheapest way to get rid of it.. hmm.. I'd say a hammer.
Oh.. What's that? You meant you want to keep your teeth?
Get a good brand of whitening toothpaste, and brush 3 times a day or as directed with it.
