Yes, and there are scientific grounds for it.
When a person dies, their brain releases all that it's accumulated in one short blast of brain waves. Everything that was stored in the subconscious is flushed out in a shock wave. Well, when intercepted, by say an unborn child, which in this case would be a "blank slate", these brain waves are written into the child's subconscious. Voila, reincarnation.
Since the body is an extension of the soul and the mind is the conscious body of the soul, those brain waves basically are the soul.
Also, when two or more "blank slates" intercept these brain waves, the information is written on all of them. That's why some people have claimed to have the same past life.
But if no one dies near them at the time of birth, then the person could grow up without having a past life at all. Their mind would be developing with nothing to go by. All that really does is create a lack of the Deja Vu effect.
With this theory, that would also include the reincarnate of animals as people. "Well then, wouldn't those people react as an animal would then?" some people would ask. The answer is no and here's a very good quote to explain why.
"I do not react as a wolf would, I react as a wolf would whose soul has been placed in a human body and raised in a human society for 18 years."

I believe in Reincarnation only because I act as if though I have been alive before..... I am very cautious of things I do and I act like an old person who's done everything and takes into consideration every consquence ( which is not common considering I'm only 15 years old) People tell me all the time that I act like an old person and I think I do because I have an old soul...

Yes I believe in re-incarnation.
No, the people in my life now aren't the same ones from before.
There are many billions of us here.
But I also believe that if spirits choose to re-incarnate enough times, they will run across others they have known before.
Haven't you ever met someone who you had an uncanny recognition of? Finished each others' thoughts, etc.? Soul mates?

Do you remember a previous life. Do you even remember anything before you were 2 or 3? I have a hard time with that seeing that no one I know does.

i dont believe in reincarnation but since we have half our mums and half our dads genes then our brain can pick up memories stored in exact copies of their DNA and maybe many other ancestors memories also.

There is plenty of proof. Do a yahoo search. You will find many who remember past lives. The children that remember are the best proof because they have not been jaded by others beliefs and ideas.
