Actually u cant find reason for the way God works, hes to mysterious for that. And u make that prayer seem always like a want or someone wanting something. Prayer is more than that. Not knowing the right way to pray isnt a reason for unanswered prayer. The fact that u are trying to talk to God is enough i would think. Since when have u remembered all of your sins. So unconfessed sin is out. Wrong motives i can see if they were bad then yes. But whos judging these motives with the gift of omni present gaze. But 1 and 2 have to be right on.

Define "answered prayers" though.
If you pray for the lottery and some how make it through a year of unemployment, how is that not an answer to your prayers?
If you pray that your father will survive his heart attack but instead dies soon after you get to his side, how is that not an answer to your prayers?
Sometimes what we think we want is not what we need.
A lack of unanswered prayers isn't for any of your reasons.

It's one of two things:
1) All prayers are answered, but sometimes the answer is "No"
2) No prayers are answered, but sometimes there are coincidences.
My money is on 2)

I don't think so. When I ask with a pure heart and good intentions God always comes through for me. I used to try and fool him when I was younger but he knows the difference between need and want. I'm not a righteous person. I don't attend church and my life-style isn't at it's best. I do know though, that God loves me anyways.

Ummm No.
That is just plain crazy.
You don't just pray and "Poof" get your wish like a geenie in a bottle. Gee Whiz.
I don't believe any of that stuff, but according to the Christian religion, God doesn't answer every prayer the way we may want. We are supposed to have faith in God's "plan" for us.

No not necessarily.
Al-tho it is true that God does take care of those who love Him.
But i have heard of many times that God has answered a prayers for some that had not repented.
God Is so wonderful and we with our limited minds can not understand His All Mighty ways.
I'm looking forward to the time when we can see Him face to face and have all our questions answered.

"Therefore, make it your habit to confess your sins to one another and to pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)

You have to have the proper licence key for Microsoft Religion. Do not even think of downloading a pirated version!
