If its a quick sale your needing, you could try an auction house that has a classics auction coming up. They may let you dump it at the auction house until the date of the auction as long as its not too long.

Know what you mean about ebay. If I advertise there now its always on buy it now and not auction because of the timewasters and dreamers. Unfortunately autotrader and other advertising mediums seem to attract them too.

I generally get at least 2 timewasters on every car.

You don`t say how old it is, but I`d advise you to keep it as an investment. I have two mgbgt`s and a 1960`s soft-top midget. All are in top condition. I am always getting notes put on the windscreen (when I leave them in a car park)
from people asking if they are for sale!

Use a classic car magazine. People who buy these will know what they are looking for and know what classic cars are worth, plus you'll know your mg will be going to a good home!!

Try autotrader.co.uk or you could sell to a local dealer for cash but you will only get the part exchange price.
