The ipod will be connected or disconnected from the computer, the upper right for charging is froze, and the screens says do not disconnect. (unfortunately, my daughter did) and it still says it. Any thoughts?

try plugging it into the wall with a wall charger then pressing the play/pause button along with the Menu button at the same time and sometimes that restarts/resets the IPOD....also you could try looking at the apple website and see what they have to say.

Here are the reset instructions:
1) Slide the Hold switch (on the top) to Hold, and then off again.
2) Press and hold the Menu and Center buttons until the Apple logo appears.

yeh cant help but take it back to the store if u still have a warenty mine is like that right now

mine did that. I just let the battery run out and it went back to normal, it took 12 hours to run out.
