Sometimes it seems like im paralyzed in the middle of the night. Then I hear someone cursing at me. Once it even touched me "down there" and pulled my hair. When I pray or call Jesus name it goes away. Please help me... Im even scared to go to sleep.

Are you born-again? If you have given yourself to Jesus Christ, the devil has no legal right to mess with you, unless you are practicing known sin (disobeying your current knowledge and understanding of God's word). If you are practicing sin, you must repent (stop it). It could be that you have a demonic spirit that is coming through your family's generations, and is putting some of the same things on you that it got away with putting on your parents and their ancestors (this is sometimes referred to as a family curse). But it doesn't matter how it comes to you, you can take authority over it and demand that it cease it's activity and leave your home. You will have to speak to it and tell it so (this will only work if you have first repented of any sin you may have recently been giving in to). DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE AFRAID OF IT. It wants to make you afraid, and it will draw strength and power from your fear. Do not be afraid of it. You are in control of it, not vice versa.

I know just what you are talking about!
I've had some of the same experiences. I've had them touch my legs. Or my head. I pray each night for God to remove anything evil from my house all night long! He is faithful.
Now, are you saved? Have you been down on your knees and repented and given your life to Jesus? Have you been baptized as an adult through water immersion? If not you need to do these things. When baptized we "put on Christ" or we are baptized "into Christ".
Someone also mentioned sleep paralysis. this is totally real also. It's like you are in a dream but can't wake up and is awful!!! I also pray about this not happening. And haven't happened in many years since praying!
A cross is not going to protect you, only Jesus will! Keep praying and have others pray for you.

When I was pregnant with my second child the same thing happened to me Its the scariest thing in the world.I was never touched but paralyzed and could feel someone next to me looking at me and I couldn't speak. I started to study the Bible and found out that if you have things in your house that are spiritistic you can have evil spirits in your home...I got rid of a ouji board and some other things and slowly it did stop. You did the right thing to say what you did. Be careful buying things at yard sales too they may seem harmless but the previous owner could have had a past with spiritism. Read the bible before you sleep that will help.

It has nothing to do with spirits. What's happening is the following: during REM sleep, our brains temporarily paralyze our bodies (to make sure we don't hurt ourselves if we happen to act out during dreams). A percentage of people wake up during this phase and a percentage of those people experience what you're experiencing. This is called 'sleep paralysis'. The mind becomes scared when it realizes the body is paralyzed and this fear is projected outward into a form that the mind believes in. In your case, it manifests this fear as spirits. In the middle ages, people were convinced they were being visited and even abducted by demons. In our modern world, in addition to demons, the mind creates an experience of aliens who are trying to abduct the person. Again, it's all the mind creating a form it can relate to for the fear of being temporarily paralyzed.
There's simple treatment for this if the information itself doesn't get rid of it.

I've had this experience before but i fixed it with a protective spell. If your a Christian you can't use spells so sorry your screwed...
Just joking, actually the way i fixed it was to find out why any demon or spirit would attack me. The answer was, because i was scared of it, and this created a conflict between me and the spirits. A subconscious war between 'good and evil'. I'm sure the spirit believed i was the evil one... If your not scared of spirits, they treat you with respect. Other ways to 'fix' this, is to not 'believe' in spirits. They tend to leave you alone if you believe they don't exist. You could always just cast them out by useing a protective 'prayer' before you go to bed.

Yes, you need to pray and sing a hymn. Its an evil spirit. They are real and they hate you and are tormenting you. But, someone invited it in by their actions. They wont go where they are unwanted.

This is called night terrors and sleep paralysis. It's just a dream. When this happens, just remember that YOU are in control and that no spirits have any real power in this world. And, that this is really just a dream.
