A tall plain or a short mount?. You do that the Bible doesn't contradict itself right. Yeah, right!

Assuming your premise, that would have been in the temple at age 12, when he was lost for 3 days and his parents found him there, listening to the elders and asking them questions (Luke 2:41-50). In addition to listening and asking, he also gave a sermon of sorts, because "all who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies." (v 48) If you stick to the Canon, this would have been the earliest instance of Jesus speaking. The infancy narratives in Matthew and Luke do not record him speaking, and other accounts begin with his discourses as an adult.

While it is true that a number of parts are to be taken literally, not all of it should be. Some is clearly allegorical, such as the prophecy given in a few books of the Bible. Other parts are poetic, not all of it is meant to be literal. You need to understand the style of writing before you try to interpret it. However, as for your question, either gospel may have recorded events in Jesus' life starting at different times in His life. I can't say for sure since I don't have a Bible nearby.

Matthew 27:3-5

Judas hanged himself

Acts 1:18

Judas threw himself off a cliff

EDIT:
concerning the "different" Judas': read your bible for yourself!

Acts 1:15-19
15In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty) 16and said, "Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who SERVED AS A GUIDE for those who arrested Jesus— 17he was one of our number and shared in this ministry."

18(With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. 19Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)

no mistaking this for someone else.

The sermon on the mount was first.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sermon_on_the_Mount. The Judas's that were referred to were 2 different ones. The one mentioned in Acts was the brother of James, which is a totally different person from the one that betrayed Jesus.

Well seeing as how he lived in a time when travel was limited to how far you could walk or how far an animal could carry you probably not too far from his home.

here is another jewel out of Luke

2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

How could an omniscient being "increase in wisdom?" And how could God increase "in favour with God?"
