I enjoyed the book, the BBC adaptations, and the motion-picture version. They did a wonderful job with Aslan the Great, who was a very important character in my imagination when I was growing up. The books don't seem so profound to me now, looking at them as a Christian allegory, but they were exciting as a child.

I want a bumper sticker that reads "WWAD?"

I had to read that at some point in elementary school, which was odd considering the obvious references to Christianity. It didn't really bother me back then, but I suppose I dislike the stories now due to the poorly hidden religious icons and symbolism. Not horrible stories, just rather sad when one considers how even a story book can have ulterior motives.

Good movie. Had Christian themes that non believers would probably miss. No doubt there will be more movies based on the series books. I am looking forward to watching them with my family.

Liked the book better (everyone says that when they make a book into a movie), but thought they did a good job with it. I bought the collector's edition last year.

If you mean last year's movie, I think it was good, with great visuals (costumes, special effects, scenery, animatronics). If you mean the story itself, I think it captures quite well the story of Jesus and of the battle between good and evil.

I liked that last year's movie started with the Nazi bombing of London. With that, you could more easily parallel Jadis the White Witch and her minions with the Nazi threat of the 1940s.

I don't know which I liked more, the Chronicles of Narnia or the Wizard of Oz. I read the heck out of them both.

I tried to read it when I was a kid but couldn't get into it. I love the movie though. I watched it with my brother, sister and their two kids. The kids love it and watch it often.
Bye.
