Can't get sound while recording video from CamCorder?

I have been using the windows movie maker, and each time I make a video, I do not collect audio from the cam corder which I am using. So does anyone know how to pick up the audio coming from the CamCorder?

check in the menu/settings...

im not sure how your camcorder works but im sure theres something in the settings to fix it... ethier that or take it back to the place you got it and im sure they can help you out.

I had the same problem with Pinnacle on my own PC, then I tried some one elses laptop and it worked. See if you can try it on another computer.
