A month ago, I met a guy who lives in my dorm. He's a senior in undergrad and I am a graduate student. We chat over IM often. One day, he randomly asks me to borrow a calculator. I thought that was odd, especially since I am sure I am not the only one he could have borrowed a calculator from. Yesterday, he comes to get it and asks to see my room. I told him no. We chatted a little while longer and then I walked him to the elevator. He tries to put his arm around me but I didn't let him. Reflex, I guess. Later, we're chatting over IM and I asked him when he was coming to visit me again. He said he didn't feel welcome because I didn't invite him to see my room. Is this guy serious? Then he asked me what I want from him and I told him friendship. But now I'm wondering, what is HE looking for? He says he would prefer to know more about me and then when he's satisfied, he'll tell me everything I want to know about him. Does this make ANY sense?

No way! He should be up front with you. Your both adults. If you're friends then he should respect your personal space. If he's interested he should just say so instead of trying to be all mysterious about things. Do you want more than friendship if not it might get kinda awkward between you two? If you do, let him see your room. It seems important to him that he does for some reason.

What do you think? What do you think he wants? Can't you tell what he wants? He wants sex with you and he wants his way with you. He doesn't like to be turned down and he reacted negatively against you when you refused to let him see your room. Why would you want a relationship with such a guy as this? Do you think he is worth knowing? Do you think he is a gentleman? I don't and I can tell you that he would go into any girl's room who invited him and if he thought for one minute he could have sex with her he would. He is the kind of guy who will take advantage of any situation.

Well If you like this guy maybe go out on a date with him, other than that he doesn't need to be in your dorm room to get to know you unless he doesn't really want to get to know you and just wants something else. Just be careful.

I think this guy has some fellings for you ,I also think that he faked the calculator so that the next day he could come into your dorm.I thik he is one of thoes guys who want to get serious and like to find out if you are a claen freak or ext. He just wants to know wat your lifestyel is or eles thier is nothing.

Sounds like you may have been a little rude but I would think he is interested in getting to know your body rather than you. Get your calculator back and move on...

Sounds like he was disappointed because you didn't offer him sex. If he was interested in a friendship or even a decent relationship he'd be willing to share things about himself with you and move at your pace. I'd tell him to get lost.

I think he likes you because of the way he tried to put his arms around you. Dont worry it is kindof akward reading the story but i guess he just needed something.

Give me a break! No guy wants a friendship from a girl!! Come On! This guy want some nookie duh! Why would he want to be your friend when he has guy friends? Think about it?! What, u think he wants to go shoe shopping with you or something? Give up the goods or leave the poor guy alone.

He sounds creepy. We wanted to get in your room to hit on you. He's probably used to just showing up and girls taking their panties off. You're better than that - don't even waste another minute wondering what's going on in that head.
