I believe so. John says that "In the beginning there was the Word. And the Word was with God and the Word was God...And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us." Jesus himself says "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am" (Jn 8:58). And when Thomas cries out to him "My Lord and my God!" he does not deny it. Instead he says "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed." Jesus clearly condones Thomas' statement. Assuming it was false, Jesus just spoke blasphemy. God would not have allowed a heretic to be his favored, blessed prophet. And so I think Thomas' statement is true. Jesus is Lord and God.

No Jesus was the firstborn of all creation...( Col. 1: 15) Also if you read the book of John you will find many times that he himself says he was sent by god and he does the will of his father. Also if you use common sense you will know that God can not die yet Jesus died for our sins...if he is God then the sacrifice would have been meaningless...there are tons of things the bible has written to prove this point way too many to write here.
