HI there...sneezing, watery eyes, nasal discharge, etc are generally symptomatic of an upper respiratory infection (URI) and require a short course of antibiotics to stave off secondary infections.

For more specifics on URI: http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_feline_upper_respiratory.html

Your cat most likely has an upper respitory infection. Take her to the vet so they can check her out and give her an antibiotic. If treated soon, it's not that big of a deal but if not treated it can continue to get worse. Cats with upper respitory infections often stop eating and cats can die if they go more than 3 days without food.
It is actually not normal for a cat to sneeze at all. If it's occasional it's probably just an allergy or a reaction to a smell or something in the air but sneezing a lot is definitely a sign that something is wrong.

My male cat was sneezing alot and even wheezing. I took him to the vet and it turns out it was not an allergy but a respiratory infection. he is on an antibiotic right now but doesn't seem to be getting any better. i will probably have to take him back to the vet.So my advice to you is this talk to your vet. You might have to take your cat into the vet to see if there is a more serious problem. Some vets recommend the nasal spray Afrin, but you can only give that for a couple days or so, then hold off for a day to prevent a rebound of the cold like symptoms. I hope that this helps.

Well to answer this question appropriately, its necessary to know how much you mean by "a lot".

Cats sneeze, just like people, all the time.. but it shouldnt be overly frequent as this can be a sign that your cat has a cold.

If you have powder or anything dusty or allergenic in your house that could also be causing your cats sneezes.

If this is happening very very frequently, I would most definitely call your vet.

Hope this helps.
