Trust me I've been there and done that. We are no longer friends, his choise. It broke my heart. Soooo if you're willing to do that, go for it. But I kick myself everyday...... and it hurts, really bad!!!!!

Ask him. Yeah, I know, sounds simple, but it isn't. This is your best friend since 3rd grade. You've known each other for practically 3/4th of your lives(give or take a few years). My advise is to take a really deep breath and just start talking to him about how you feel. Yeah, he could go all,"oh wow, I can't do that because your my best friend". Or he could go "okay, lets give it a shot"!

There are big risk here, you can lose a close friend. However in my opinion it is better to at least try than to live the rest of your life never knowing. One day you may be married with kids and you decide to act on these feeling it would not be fair to your family and husband.

Start hanging out more, subtle flirts to see how he responds. the situation will work itself out if you try.

Oh my god this is a rough one. Its extremely hard to get involved intimately with someone you've been friends with for so long. Plus you do not want to ruin your friendship at all. What you have to do, is casually mention the situation to him, and ask him if hed be willing to go for it or not. You have to know if he'd be willing to risk the friendship as well. From there, you can make a decision on what to do.

Sounds like you don't even love your boyfriend. Stop leading him on and break up with him. Dont' cheat that's not fair to him. After you do that then talk to you friend about how you feel and then you can move on from there

WHAT EVER YOU DO, DON'T I MEAN DO NOT. EVEN THROUGH IT SEEMS LIKE A GOOD IDEA DONT DATE YOUR BEST FRIEND. TRUST ME I'VE DONE IT AND THINGS ARE STILL NOT THE SAME OVER 5 YRS LATER.
