Theres this boy i really like ,He found out ages ago but i didnt talk to him much becuase i was too shy.I deicided to just be more conifdent ,and now i would say were good mates. ive been to town with him on my own ,and i call for him in the holidays and we get on so well. At school though he isn't as talktive to me as he is out of school...and it feels like im the one who has to start the converstion he sometimes even flirts with my mates but somedays we get on like outt of school. One day his mate asked if i still liked him and i said yes and he went over and told him and i saw him shaking his head and heard him say no (obvisley he said he don't) but that night he came on msn sayin he heard that i fancy this other boy and asking if its true because he likes me a bit and talking to me loads and sending me kiss icons my mate got blanked by him (he always talks to me loads on msn and sends loads of x's) .... do you think he really does like me a bit atleast?

well this should tell you :)
One of the easiest ways to know if a guy likes you is if he gives you quick glances and stares at you every so often. Watch him and if he looks at you quite often from time to time, HE LIKES YOU!
If you are hanging out with a guy you usually don't hang out with and that could be a possible boyfriend, the guy that likes you will become interested and will stare at you and the guy you are hanging out with. If he is the bold type he might try to become involved with the two of you which definitely means he likes you!!!
If he talks to your friends a lot he probably likes you.
If he tries to be near you and suddenly takes an interest in things you like, he likes you.
If he talks to you and acknowledges you in some way, this is a sure sign he likes you!
If he tries to make you laugh or says stuff sarcastically that he thinks is funny, again he most likely likes you.
Lastly, if he is nervous around you, he likes you.

Where r u from? some place that says "mate" a lot... is that somewhere in Australia? anyhoo... from what I understood in your question... My guess is that maybe he likes u... but he doesn't want his "mates" to know that he likes u... I could be wrong, and it could be something COMPLETELY different.
I suggest u tell him to be straight with u, and tell u how he feels about u once and for all! He's giving u mixed signals, and I know how annoying that must be. So work up some confidence, and go and confront him!

Maybe he just a little shy in front of his friends to show you how he truly feels. Well, since he already knows then bring it up in a conversation when your talking about girlfriends and boyfriends. He might like you but I'm not quite sure.

Yes, he likes you but he doesn't want it to be front page news at school because of how hassling it can be sometimes for everyone else to know your business and all.
He just wants it to be about you and him and not have everyone else involved into it.
Its common in school age kids to be like this because they don't want to hear stuff from their peers and get teased about it.
Back when I was in school (high school) I wouldn't date overly popular girls because it always seemed like to me if I dated them I would also be dating all their friends as well because it seemed like they all knew too much of each others business all the time.
Go for it and don't worry just because he don't want to make it a big deal with everyone.

Don't worry about him not talkin at school, alot goes on there. He's got his best friends, studying, classes, trouble, enemies. All sorts of stuff. Sounds to me you're alittle clingy to him? Act like he doesn't effect you love wise and see if he comes to you begging you to be his.
