Short is usually low maintenance. However, if you don´t like short hair - as a girl, might make you look kinda harsh if you´re not a puppyface. ;) -
a bob is very low maintenance as well. One good idea is also to get a very layered haircut. If your hair is naturally wavy or curly, that´s the best thing you can do. Wash, blow dry upside down, go. If you´re in a hurry, you can also just opt for a ponytail and you still have the chance of going for an updo or something if you go out and want to look fancy. Hard to do with short hair. ;)

Have you asked a stylist?? usually your regular stylist or any stylist with some explaining will be able to give you suggestions based on your hairs color and thickness that will flatter your face and match your personality that you wish to publicly display as well.

This is the best option. Short is usually low maintence, but it only works on hair that isn't too thin and is the right texture to hold a simple style. This is why it is best to have someone who is trained look at your hair and help you decide.
