You NEED to have her examined by the vet to make sure nothing is wrong.
If she checks out okay, give her whatever she will eat. This is the ONLY time I recommend catering to picky dogs.

She should be seen by a vet if she's lost that much weight, and she should be getting puppy food to eat now, try canned puppy food to make it more appealing. And the pups should be spending all their time eating or sleeping, if they are awake and crying, they probably aren't getting enough milk and may need to be bottle fed. You will need to learn how to stimulate them to go pee and poop after feeding if you have to bottle feed, they can't do it on their own yet. And bring the vet a stool sample from mom, post-pregnancy she can have worms, which may make her feel ill and also can make her lose weight. It's not your fault if she does have worms, the roundworm has a dormant stage that becomes active when exposed to pregnancy hormones. The pups will need to be dewormed too, but not yet. Typically, pups and mom should be dewormed when the puppies are 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks old.

not a vet but this is what we did when I was younger and my dog had pups....help out whenever you can by bottle feeding the pups..give mom a break thats a big litter..shes probably too tired to do anything..switch her from regular dog food over t puppy food and mix in a lil warm chicken or beef broth..also try boiling some chicken meat to mix in..if she still wont eat get her into the vet so they can get her in IV fluids..while you're there get the pups checked out to make sure they are ok and got enough food and nutrients from mom...good luck

Try to get her to eat: she's just had a strenuous ordeal, giving birth, but she should get hungry soon. Putting some calories in her water, like a few spoonfuls of molasses, might get her metabolism to kick in.
If she doesn't eat by tomorrow, it could be ketosis, which is an emergency. Call the vet's office now, for advice.

You will need to take her in or call your vet IMMEDIATELY if she isn't eating she will be giving up whatever is left of her nutrients to her puppies and her organs will begin to fail. Not to mention her puppies will not be getting a sufficient amount of nutrients that they need to build a strong immune system and will be susceptible to various diseases. If she does not start eating soon you will need to bottle feed the puppies until the mother is well enough. Good luck!

You could try wet food mixed with dry food. The canned food usually works and it is normal for dogs after birth to look bad.if it goes on to long though you are right to worry.try her favourite treats too.Her stomach may be a little up set she may need to eat a little grass from out side it will help her stomach right away.If she goes out side to the bathroom watch and see if she is eating grass. If she doesn;t have the energy to go out side get some and give it to her it could really help her fast.

go to your local vet......iv fluids will help,if she does not eat properly the pups will die, they need their mothers milk to be fortified with the correct nutrition,fat's.....so on, and the longer you wait the more chance they could be in danger....good luck and make the appointment asap.
