I'd like to thank RuneAmok for putting me straight. The ten month old child in cardiac arrest that I went to last year ? - clearly I shouldn't have rushed there, must have forgot to do some 'paperwork' when I arrived, should have 'sauntered' past the hysterical parents and then took a leisurely drive to hospital.
Jeez...

No, we never take a dying person to a church (we would be fired for that).
We take dying people to hospital.
We do respect people's religious beliefs and may arrange for a priest or other religious leader to meet us at ER if it iseems inevitable that a person is going to die. I have had family members try to stop me from defibrillating a patient "because God will save him". Fortunately I don't need their consent, but I wonder if they ever stopped to think that maybe their God wants the paramedics to help save people's lives.
Maybe not.

No. I know this isn't what you're questioning, but I've never seen an ambulance rush anyone anywhere.

You know how you hear the sirens and it's all dramatic? And on tv the emts come rushing out and dash into the house? Doesn't happen in real life. Sure they rush to the scene with sirens blaring, but when they arrive I think they stop to do some paperwork, then they get out, and saunter around back to get their equipment, and then saunter up to the house...

It's all very casual.

to all those that say god is not about healing the physical body, you are once again calling jesus a liar:

James 5:15
And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.

Mark 16:16-18
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.

so far jesus is explicitly clear... god heals the body if you ask.

John 14:14:
If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.

christians, are you implying that your saviour lied about this? or convoluted the truth? if so, then how can you be sure you're even saved??? either jesus lies (no guarantee for salvation then), convolutes the truth making things vague and in need of new translations (again, no guarantee for salvation), or you can aske ANYTHING in his name and he will do it, including healing a sick person (definite guarantee for salvation). and don't roll your eyes and blow me off, its your scripture i quote.

No, that would be completely insane. Churches save the spiritual body not the physical. Lame question....next.
