The pollution we make does have some effect. However if you find temperature charts of the earths history you will see that it cools and reheats again over and over. You will also see this is not the hottest the planet has ever been. We are still in the process of warming from the big Ice Age of about 20,000 years ago and a mini Ice Age about 300 years ago.

The term global warming does not mean pollution. It is a scientific term for the climate getting warmer. That can, and has, happened repeatedly due to natural causes in the past. All the fuss today is about human contributions to that natural process. There is some human contribution, but we really don't know for sure how much effect that will have. So far, it isn't much at all.

You guys need to watch an 'inconvenient truth'. Many scientific studies are referenced in that documentary which show that current levels of CO2 growth in the atmosphere far, far exceed that of any previous recorded ice age. There can be no denying looking at the evidence that pollution from humans is by far causing more than "natural" cycles or volcanoes.

One Volcanic Eruption will spew more gases into the atmosphere than mankind could do for many years. The Earth is, and always has, gone through natural fluctuations in the environment long before mankind was anywhere near capable of doing what we are accused of doing.
