Is it okay to text someone constantly while getting to know them, before officially going on a date?? Or should we just talk on the phone? What do you guys think about text messaging? Impersonal or no?

Is texting impersonal? Hell yes it is. It's like emailing someone all the time, only with :) :( 4 ur <3.... and so on thrown in. It's REALLY CHILDISH.

If you are going to text him on your phone, why not call him? It would be a hell of a lot QUICKER and EASIER. That and you can take that $5 a month off of your phone bill because you aren't paying to text all the time.

You cannot really get to know someone typing either texting or by computer.

At least on the phone you can determine if they are smart, articulate, funny, polite many subtleties that you cannot read in the typed word.

After the phone meeting in person would be the next step, bed and sex is waaaaaaaay down the line.

Texting? No! Its best to actually see them in person, that way you can see thier body language. Over the phone is so-so, at least you can hear the tone of voice. But texting? No!
