Lucifer can not take over the universe,but he can become the king of your spirit ( attitude ).this attitude is already evident. look at the doings of people in high places,moral laxity and in general inflated pride ( the' i can do this attitude).i see how the players,"" in hearts yahoo"" type ugly things because there is no consequence to what they type.that same person would not dare say it in real life,that shows that spirit of false pride(i can do this attitude) no empathy no sympathy just apathy.

Well Lucifer is a generic Latin word. I assume you mean Satan. Satan is the insistent self within each one of us. There is no such thing as an evil power or entity, because evil is simply the lack of good. It does not exist.
So he couldn't rule the universe.
