Here are a few of my recent favorites:

“The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had.”

“I don't need a friend who changes when I change and who nods when I nod; my shadow does that much better.”

“You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”

“Winning is nice if you don't lose your integrity in the process.”

“Anyone can give up; it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.”

“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.”

“It is a curious thought, but it is only when you see people looking ridiculous that you realize just how much you love them.”

“Cute is when a person's personality shines through their looks. Like in the way they walk, every time you see them you just want to run up and hug them.”

“A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.”

"No man is an island. entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
