Hey. You're probably in Middle School right? I am in 6th grade and trust me I know the feeling. I know someone that's not cute but hilarious and is on the wrestling team. He's never mean to me and we talk on aim all of the time. Idk if I like him like him but he's a cool kid.
Now, your problem.... well basically, Just don't show off for him and get to be his friend better and let him get to know you and make sure he's single if you're trying to get closer cuz it could be for nothing. I know that feeling! So... just be nice to him and you know... with showing off, he'll realize what you're doing and stop liking you. And you know, some people say they like someone else when they really like that one. So, my point is... he might like you. Just.... be yourself and go with the flow and let life come at you. Sometimes being mean is something guys do when they like a woman. He may like you as well, so I think you should drop a couple of SUBTLE hints and try to give him a glimpse into how you feel. Be careful, though, if he starts getting more mean to you, you know that something is not right with him. Good luck!

From there he might relize

Try to see whether he likes you or not
and If he doesnt then forget it
and if he does go all out to get him

well, u should talk to him and it dont matter what he looks like-its whats inside that counts but how is he mean to u? jokingly or mean mean?cuz if its jokingly then he might be interested in u but if its like sibling vs. sibling style then i don't think hes interested in u that much....just take it one step at a time
